REVENUES

• Get 40 friends to make a donation in return for owning a horse that is running in your Race Night. Suggested donation is $40 per horse. Total raised is 40 x $40 = $1,600
• Horse owners can name the horse after themselves, family member, fun name, etc... This information appears on the custom Race Card, alongside your information and the date, time and venue for your event.
• Get 5 companies or individuals to sponsor a race. Suggested sponsorship is $60 per race. Total raised is 5 x $60 = $300. We place the company logo of each sponsor on the Race Card.

EXPENSES

• Award the owner of the winning horse a token prize. Eg. $20 gift certificate. There will be five winning horses. Total expense is 5 x $20 = $100
• Order Off To The Races Pack consisting of 5 races on DVD, full color posters and custom play cards. Total expense = $210

NET INCOME FOR YOUR EVENT = $1,850 - $310 = $1,540

NIGHT OF YOUR EVENT

• Choose a local bar to stage your event. Be sure that the venue has several TV screens plus a DVD player.
• Display our posters at the event several days in advance to ensure a good turnout. This will also keep the venue owner happy!
• Invite your friends to your fundraising Race Night and watch them get excited as their horses come dashing out of the stalls!

OPTIONAL FUNDRAISING IDEAS

• Sell the jockeys in each race for $10. Total raised is 40 x $10 = $400. Winning jockey gets a prize, again determined by you.
• Purchase additional races at $25 per race. Use this as the last race and auction off the horses to those in attendance.
